Last Thursday I attended the Spread the Love workshop by Connecticut wedding photographers Justin and Mary Marantz. Click HERE to see pictures from our class in the post called “SOUTHERN LIVING”… and see if you recognize anyone you know… Prepare to be amazed by their amazing work! This was a LIFE workshop~ EXACTLY what I need right now. I set goals for 2010 and really analyzed WHY I am a photographer and how that fits into my life.
Here are a few quotes to ponder: “In business you are either growing or dying. You are never standing still.” “Be an EARNER not a YEARNER” “Successful people show up every day and get it done.” My personal favorite is “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, ‘I used everything you gave me.'” (Erma Bombeck)
I wish I had a picture of the workshop to share but I was so busy taking notes and chatting that I FORGOT to grab a shot with my iphone!
So instead I will share a quick, easy, nutritious recipe with you: White Bean Chicken Chili
thinly sliced chicken breasts
1 carton of chicken broth
2 or 3 cans of Great Northern beans or cannellini beans
1 small can of diced green chilies
Saute chicken in 1 tbs of olive oil. Add onions until cooked. Add chilies and slightly saute. Add broth and beans. If there isn’t enough liquid, add a cup of water.
Cook through as long as you want on low.
