James & Nancy~ Ballantyne Country Club Wedding

Here is part I of James and Nancy’s beautiful wedding at Ballantyne Country Club on Saturday, May 18, 2013.  The original plan was to have everything outside but since there was a 90% chance of rain, the hard decision was made to move the wedding and reception inside.  Thankfully it only sprinkled off and on and we were able to take some pictures outside.  Despite the threatening weather, the wedding was absolutely beautiful.   So many sentimental and religious details!  I especially loved the Jewish tradition of signing the Ketubah~ a written contract that is signed by the couple, parents and witnesses.  What a beautiful symbol of their covenant which can be displayed in their home forever.  Congratulations, James and Nancy!  Mazel Tov!

We decided to go on a golf cart photo adventure, zipping around, dodging raindrops and the groom. Fran is a great driver. It was fast and furious~ a highlight of the day.

The moment that her grandmother saw her was one of my all-time favorites!
