Charlotte Urban Home Magazine

Front Door Fabrics is without a doubt the best fabric store in the Charlotte area.  Last year I was freshening up my family room with new paint and had a terrible time finding just the right color to match my drapes.  The tan/green/gold colors I tried all looked like baby poop on the wall… NOT a good look!  In desperation, I took a small piece of my fabric into Front Door Fabrics.  One of the owners, Karen Dixon, took one look at the fabric and said, “You need Balsam Bark.”  Just that easy!!  She was right- and we painted the entire downstairs in various strengths of Balsam Bark.  That’s what Front Door Fabrics is about: service.  They are not only a fabric store, but a design center- pulling together furniture, accessories, and fabric to decorate your home.  Check out their blog at www.frontdoorfabrics.blogspot.com.  When I was asked to take detail pictures of their work, I jumped at the chance to photograph such beautiful fabrics and furniture.
